Abundance. Pure and simple, generous and astounding abundance fills the gardens and prairie with an overwhelming sense of the goodness of Creation and Creator these days. As we drink in the abundance and beauty of this spectacular season, there is so much that it dribbles down our chin - leaving spots of wonder over our very being.
Daisies, in spite of yearly attempts to contain their exuberance, fill the beds around the ponds with smiles and sunny faces. Lush purple Jackmanii clematis climb their way over arbor and fence, their "feet" shaded by masses of ferns. Herbs of every kind add texture and scintillating aromas to the world, and strawberries grow so thick they quickly fill bowls and tubs with juicy delight.
Don't you just love this season? The abundance of Creation is almost too much to grasp, and the wonder of it unending!
May you find time to dance with the joy and exuberance of this blooming season! If you'd like, come and visit us Sunday, June 28 as we freely open our gardens and labyrinths to all. More information is available on our website, www.souloftheprairie.com. See you then!
